hey, all 2 people who read this: i'm finally getting around to writing about how i won this ccompetition that i didn't plan on winning. thought i could make the top, get on a CD a few people might hear. well, i won the whole deal and a week from today i
perform in a cool festival called the Festival of Faith & Music at Calvin College in Grand Rapids. here:

http://www.calvin.edu/admin/sao/festival/

i'll be bringin it in a sweet venue (multimedia, grand piano, 800 seats) alongside festival headliners sufjan stevens, neko case, and emmylou harris. crazy.

check out this recent Joshue Ott image. this man is crazy. he created it, along with a batch of others, while developing album artwork for the Son Lux record.

Hey man.
I saw you at the Calvin show - it was beautiful. Your piano playing represents one of the top three piano-listening experiences I've ever had, and there was a bass line about halfway through the show that made me break the chair trying to keep still.
Where did you study music?
And: where/how can I get my hands on as much of your music as quickly as possible? Is there any non-myspace way?
